I’ve just worked out how to assign tunes to different groups of people on my iPhone. If a friend calls me, my phone rings with “‘We are Young’ by Fun”, If an unknown calls me, my phone rings with “‘Runaways’ by the Killers” and if a family member calls me, my phone rings with “The Great Escape tune from the movie”.

The default ring tone on my phone was beginning to grate on me and I was finding I wasn’t answering my calls.

Anchoring is an essential part of a coaches arsenal and can be used to build positive emotion, as well as delete negative frustrations and annoyance.

We will be focusing our attention on NLP anchoring in this months practice sessions.

Here’s a 1 minute video of anchoring for fun. I think you will enjoy it…

To your success.

Toby – I can’t hear ‘We are Young’ without thinking or telling people about your NLP session that I joined earlier this year. You said on the day, “Don’t worry too much about writing notes; you’ll probably never read them again after this weekend.” I’m somewhat embarrassed to admit that you were right, I never did read those notes again but every time I hear that song, which played during every break, I momentarily escape the kamikaze rat race and SMILE. Thank You!
